contemplating life
dissecting with a knife
stripping away years
cutting causes tears
regrets exceed
with my soul i plead
i promise change
and plans arrange
foreseeing eternity
swearing glibly
sleep finally beckons
i have the best of intentions

I really like this, although I do feel like there something just a little bit off with your rhyming pattern.
Your new layouot and colour scheme look fantastic, by the way. Good work!
Thanks and thanks. I'm not really happy about trying to rhyme many with plea, or eternity with glibly. They are a stretch at best. I'm still trying to find something more rhymey(<--made up word) to replace them with.
How exactly did you stumble upon my little corner of the interweb?

I was visiting the magnificent Erin in Halifax a few months back. She introduced me to your blog, asking if I knew who you were....I don't, but I've since become an avid reader!
And made-up words are fabulous.
Changed many to exceed and plea to plead. I think it flows a bit better now.
if my actual self ever reads that last sentence I will never live it down
